Once again, Student Council organized our school’s HALLOWEEN FOR HUNGER food drive this year.  It was a big success and each homeroom filled at least one box with food items to go to families in need over the holidays.  Congratulations to 7-6 for winning a pizza party after bringing in 4 full hampers worth of food!

It is our hope that all Sunnyside families can enjoy the holiday season this year with food and gifts for everyone.  We understand that life circumstances sometimes make this difficult.  If your family has experienced financial stress this year, making it difficult to provide holiday meals or gifts for children, please call Mrs. Mistry and Ms. Cooney at 519-896-1130 to be considered for our “Adopt a Family” program.
