Hello Sunnyside families,

On Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 pm we are co-hosting an event with Sheppard, Smithson and Suddaby Public Schools that will take place at Sheppard Public School (278 Weber St E, Kitchener).  Local physician, Dr. Alison Yeung, is coming to speak about smartphones, social media and the impact on kids.

Sunnyside’s School Council (thank you!) submitted a Parents Reaching Out grant proposal and Sheppard, Smithson and Suddaby had similar ideas.  I’ve seen Dr. Yeung speak before and it was a helpful and informative.  There will be snacks and childcare.  If you haven’t yet registered and are interested, please click here.
