Sunnyside is a Grade 7/8 school with approximately 340 students who join us from 5 different feeder schools.  We have family backgrounds from over 60 countries in the world and we embrace our diverse group of learners.  Senior school life is so exciting for all students.  This is a time to develop academically and socially.  Here students have the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, and become involved in the many activities that are offered at Sunnyside.

Having a staff of 25 teachers, along with 7 educational assistants, Sunnyside provides a variety of exciting opportunities for students.  Our 2 secretaries provide a welcoming atmosphere to all visitors and our custodial staff work hard to ensure the school and playground is clean and safe for everyone.  Our library clerk has provided many new and current books to keep our students interested in reading.

It is our goal that every Sunnyside student is happy, safe, secure, and learning.
