Hi Sunnyside Families,

In consultation with transportation, we have made temporary changes to the bus pickup/drop-off locations in order to keep students safe. Buses are now picking up and dropping off at the designated zone along Emerald Avenue beside the tennis courts due to the mounds left by snow plows on Prospect Avenue. This will be in place until the snow is gone (March).

Emerald Avenue is now very crowded before school. If you are dropping a student off please remember three things:

1. Only Sunnyside staff vehicles should be in the parking lot before school

2. Use a side street (Prospect Avenue or Euler Avenue) for pick-up or drop-off before or after school

3. Stay out of neighborhood driveways – community members have called to complain about cars idling in driveways. By-Law may be contacted.
